Heated Rivalry actor Robbie G.K. shared what he'd like for his character, graduate student and smoothie shop employee, Kip Grady, in the show's upcoming second season.

During a February 2026 interview withExtraTV during the 2026 GLAAD Media Awards, alongside his Heated Rivalry castmates, Christina Chang and Nadine Bhabha, G.K. referenced that the hit show has been renewed for a second season. He shared he'd like Kip to get married to his boyfriend, professional hockey player Scott Hunter (François Arnaud), during Heated Rivalry season 2. G.K. explained that Kip doesn't interact with many of the show's characters and wants to film a big event "where [they] get to interact with each other.”

“I think it would be a fun scene to film,” said the actor to Extra TV.

He then said he could picture Kip wearing "a loose-fitting white linen shirt with a deep V" on his wedding day. Chang, who portrays Yuna Hollander, proceeded to ask if G.K. pictured the potential wedding "on an island somewhere."

“We could be! He’s got money, baby! Not me, Scott," replied G.K.

Robbie G.K. Opened up About His On-Screen Chemistry With François Arnaud

In a February 2026 interview with Today Show Australia, G.K. opened up about filming with Arnaud in Heated Rivalry, which premiered in November 2025. He said that he and Arnaud immediately clicked during their first "chemistry read" on Zoom. In addition, he shared that he and Arnaud filmed Scott and Kip's scenes in chronological order.

"Most of the scenes that we filmed, they were kind of in order that you see them in the show," said G.K. in the February 2026 interview. "So at the beginning, you know, we're kind of nervous and just meeting each other, and it worked out really well that way because our on-screen chemistry kind of translated to our real life friendship building as well."
