In a thrilling, record-setting game that lasted nearly seven hours, Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off home run for the second consecutive year in the World Series. His blast sailed over center field in the bottom of the 18th inning, clinching a 6-5 victory for the Dodgers in Game 3. Shohei Ohtani also delivered an outstanding performance, contributing four hits, which included two home runs and had four intentional walks. Ohtani became the first player in playoff history to reach base nine times in a single game, tying the record for any game.
