US collected $166 billion under IEEPA duties, customs agency says

WASHINGTON, March 6 (Reuters) - The U.S. Customs and ‌Border Protection agency ‌said on Friday it collected ​about $166 billion in duties and deposits under the emergency tariffs imposed ‌by President ⁠Donald Trump that were struck down ⁠by the Supreme Court.

CBP said in a ​Court of ​International ​Trade filing ‌declaring that it could not comply with a judge's order to begin processing refunds that ‌there were about ​20.1 million ​entries ​under the International ‌Emergency Economic Powers ​Act tariffs ​that were unliquidated, or not finalized, as ​of ‌March 4.
