You know how sometimes the silliest news might just signal the biggest news? That’s what we’re dealing with here.

Lately, the world’s favorite couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, have been somewhat quiet online and in the public arena. With Swift skipping the Grammys, Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs missing out on the Super Bowl, and rumors swirling of the pair delaying their wedding plans, some fans are spiraling. But fret not, the pair have shown life online.

Yesterday, the NFL pro competed in the Pro-Am at the Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale, where he nearly hit a hole-in-one then reportedly celebrated with a little air guitar. Per Heavy, Golf Channel commentator Eamon Lynch reacted by saying, “I think Taylor Swift is going to write a song about that one.”

Video of the epic shot did what it does online, but the kicker is that Swift, who rarely interacts with public posts about her personal life, liked the clip on Instagram, which was posted to the @golfchannel handle.

This has people now wondering if the couple are going to walk the red carpet together at the NFL Honors tonight. See what we mean? Silly news -> big news.

We’ll have to wait and see. The ceremony begins at 9 p.m. ET from the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, and will be broadcast on the NFL Network and NBC. The red carpet starts an hour earlier on the NFL Network.

Kelce is the Chiefs' nominee for the 2025 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, recognizing his excellence on the field and community impact. Word is, he’ll be in attendance. Especially since the Chiefs didn’t make the Super Bowl.

Question is: Will Swift be on his arm?

Keep your eyes peeled.
