Sterling K. Brown is revealing the biggest things he and his wife, Ryan Michelle Bathé, disagree on after two decades of marriage.
The Paradise actor shared those disagreements during the Feb. 26 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark.
“Biggest thing we disagree on is probably the temperature of the bedroom,” Brown, 49, said. “She likes things very warm. And then her posterior also has a lot of warmth to it as well. And she’ll back it into me — and it’s a delightful posterior, don’t get me wrong. But there are times it’ll be like, ‘Oh, the heat coming off of this thing is massive!’ “
“And I just break into a full-body sweat. I kick the sheets off, she tries to put it on and back that thing up. It’s something. It’s something,” he added.

Brown went on to reveal that he and Bathé, 49, also have drastically different travel routines.
“I’d say in 20 years, she’s missed over two dozen flights,” he shared.
“She’ll miss a flight, whether we’re together or not. And when we’re not together she’ll be like, ‘Sorry … I thought I was going to be home. I missed the flight. I’ll see you another day,’ ” he continued.
“And she’s cool! And I’m like, ‘I was looking forward to seeing my wife! I was excited for us to get together!’ And if we’re traveling together, like, the amount of time that she’ll wait to pack to leave the house? I have to like [do] deep meditation in order to be okay with the whole process,” he added.

Differences aside, the This Is Us actor said that he still feels incredibly lucky to be approaching such a milestone anniversary with Bathé in March — and also revealed that he has a surprise up his sleeve for the special occasion

“I’m surprising her. So there will be something that’s happening. I can’t tell just yet, because I want the surprise to happen. But I’m excited for it. Twenty years doesn’t happen all the time. You go through your ups and downs but the fact that we’re here and more in love with each other now than when we first got together? Blessed,” he said.
The pair married in March 2006, welcomed their first son, Andrew, in 2011, and became a family of four with the birth of their second son, Amaré, in 2015.

Brown previously shared the secret to his long-lasting relationship during a live taping of That Was Us, a rewatch podcast for the Emmy-winning This Is Us, at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Jan. 17.
“My wife is the love of my life, not because it’s always easy, but because we keep choosing each other. You know what I’m saying? So even when we’re not perfect for each other, you can still choose each other and just choose to be perfect for each other,” he said.
