- *Off Campus *showrunner Louisa Levy is setting the record straight on a pay disparity claim between the leads of the hit Prime Video romance series.

- On July 10, she replied in the comments of an Instagram video for a podcast that alleged Ella Bright was paid $80,000 less than co-lead Belmont Cameli.

- “These numbers are far from correct,” she wrote.**

When a new series goes viral, as Prime Video’s hockey romance *Off Campus** *did, everyone wants to know what the actors were paid.

But creator and showrunner Louisa Levy wants to set the record straight on those who claim to know the salaries of the leads.

On July 10, Levy replied in the comments of an Instagram video posted by *In the Vault*, a new podcast that began publishing episodes in March. In the video, podcast host Ali Rose Gray alleges that Belmont Cameli got paid $30,000 per episode, or $260,000 for the eight episodes of season 1, while co-lead Ella Bright was paid only $20,000 per episode, or $160,000 for the whole season.

“That’s an $80,000 difference,” Gray concluded.

Levy said those figures are incorrect.

“Check your sources,” Levy wrote in her reply to the video. “These numbers are far from correct. While this is absolutely an issue in the industry, as a female showrunner, I fight for gender pay parity in my cast.”

In the video, posted on June 14, the podcast host also went on to claim to know the salaries of the rest of the supporting cast.

No one involved with the show has publicly stated what the cast was paid. ** reached out to representatives for Prime Video and Levy for comment.

*Off Campus*, based on the hockey romance book series by Elle Kennedy, premiered on Prime Video on May 13. Earlier this year, the show was renewed for a second season, which is currently filming. While the first season focused on Hannah Wells (Bright) and Garrett Graham (Cameli), the next season will focus on a new couple at Briar University: Dean and Allie (Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla).

“But if you fell in love with Hannah and Garrett, don’t worry — they will still be an integral part of our robust ensemble,” Levy said in a statement in May. “We’re looking forward to telling the next chapter of everyone’s story. There’s a lot for fans to look forward to!”

All episodes of season 1 of *Off Campus* are streaming on Prime Video.
