The Dutton family that viewers met in the *Yellowstone* pilot is no more. For starters, most of them are dead. But even the remaining few have parted ways — and in more ways than one.

Not only did Kayce (Luke Grimes) and his sister Beth (Kelly Reilly) go their separate ways at the end of the flagship series, but now they are each leading their own spinoff as *Marshals *follows Kayce's journey of joining the U.S. Marshals, and *The Dutton Ranch *follows Beth and her husband, Rip (Cole Hauser) to Dillon, Mont., as they start a new life.**

So, knowing that *Marshals *premieres on CBS on March 1 and *The Dutton Ranch* is set to premiere this year on Paramount+, is there any hope of a family reunion? "If something happens, that would be great," *Marshals* showrunner Spencer Hudnut tells **. "But I think both shows are sort of forging their own paths right now."

However, Hudnut admits that the two shows have similar timelines, with both taking place in present day, which means that a crossover isn't the craziest idea. "The shows kind of exist in the same universe. If Kayce, Rip, and Beth reunited at some point, I'm sure everybody would like it. It's one of those things where we'll see what happens down the road.

"Chad [Feehan], who runs *Dutton Ranch*, is in a bungalow right across the way from me, so we often bump into each other in the parking lot," Hudnut continues. "We did have communication a couple times about, 'I'm doing this thing, are you doing this thing?'"

Hudnut admits that *Marshals* won't get too specific about Rip and Beth in its story, though both characters obviously live on in Kayce's world. "We'll see if Kayce gets to see his sister again," Hudnut says.
