Khloé Kardashian says she may let her kids watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians around age 14 or 15

She referenced her nephew Mason, 16, who started watching the show at 14 or 15 and found it entertaining

Mason was surprised by the family’s personalities on the show compared to how they are around their kids now

Khloé Kardashian is not quite ready to let her children watch the older seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

During a new episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, the reality tv star, 41, answered viewers' questions in a special "Ask Me Anything" edition of the podcast. One fan asked her when she'd let her children — Tatum, 3, and True, 7 —watch the older seasons of the Kardashian-Jenner family's reality series. Kardashian, who shares her children with ex Tristan Thompson, said that she didn't know exactly, but would probably let them around the same time her sister Kourtney Kardashian Barker's son Mason, 16, started watching it.

"I remember Scott [Disick] text us — maybe it was last year [or] could be two years ago tops, but I swear it was last year — and Mason ... 14 or 15," she shared, adding her nephew's reaction to the series. "He just started watching all of [Keeping Up with the Kardashians], and he was like, 'Wow, you guys were such a vibe.' And I'm like, 'Were? We're still a f--king vibe. Like, what are you talking about?'"

"He loved it. He was so entertained by it," she continued. "He said he was so surprised by so many of our personalities cause we're obviously so different around the kids and now that we're older, too. But, I would say 14 or 15. Oh, that's going to be a tough one."

The reality star and mom of two also shared on her podcast her thoughts on exposing her kids to the online world. Kardashian said that her kids may be aware that she's famous and comfortable around cameras, but they don't have social media or Internet access.

"It's normal to them to experience paparazzi. It's strange, but that's the norm. They're not questioning it," she shared. "And they don't have social media. They don't have the Internet in any way. My kids don't have Google. They don't have anything like that. So, they don't know what even that means."

"It's just a different world. I don't know how to explain it really," she continued. "When they're old enough, they will figure it out. I don't believe kids — my son is 3 [and] my daughter's 7½ — [should] be on social media in my opinion. They don't about the Internet."

The proud mom went on to reveal that her children don't even truly know what TikTok is.

"My daughter will be like, 'I want to film a TikTok.' They don't know what TikTok is because I never talk about TikTok," she explained. "They think that means a dancing video, and so we'll just film dancing and that's them dancing on my tables and just having fun. But, they don't know about like trending sounds unless I show them something."

Kardashian also revealed her potential timeline for her daughter getting a phone. The Kardashians star shared that she's thinking about getting True a phone for her golden birthday, which will be when she turns 12 years old on April 12, 2030. However, the doting mom won't be quick to allow her on social media when she does get a phone.

"That doesn't mean she'll get social media. That means she gets a phone," she shared. "I don't think kids should have social media until, I mean, I would love 16 [or] 17, but a phone we're discussing on her 12th birthday."

When it comes to parenting, the reality star enjoys the different aspects of it. During a June 2024 episode of The Kardashians, she said that she was "made to be a mom."

"For me, I genuinely feel like I was made to be a mom and there's no other place I would rather be than [home] with my kids," she said.
