Kate Middleton rewore a Blazé Milano brown plaid coat with a dark hat and print scarf to Christmas service in Sandringham.

The Princess of Wales first wore the coat during a very significant January 2025 engagement.

She was joined by her husband and children, with Princess Charlotte matching her like in previous years.

Kate Middleton joined the royal family this morning in Sandringham, England, for their annual Christmas service—and the Princess of Wales opted for a deeply meaningful brown look. Kate rewore the Blazé Milano plaid coat that she had on when visiting Royal Marsden Hospital, the hospital where she received cancer treatment, for a royal engagement in January. She accessorized with a chocolate-brown, flower-adorned hat and a print scarf with brown tones. She was joined by her husband, Prince William, and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Charlotte matched with Kate.

Last year, Kate chose an emerald ensemble, pairing a coat from Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen with a matching hat and a green and navy tartan scarf.

The princess recently released her family’s annual Christmas card, featuring a rare photo of the family of five. “Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas,” she and William captioned the shot, which was taken in April.

On December 18, People shared new details about Kate and William’s marriage following her cancer diagnosis and completed chemotherapy treatment. Royal historian Amanda Foreman spoke about the couple’s dynamic, saying, “He treats her like his bride. They seem more loved-up than ever.”

“What they have been through over the last few years has been so terrible,” Foreman added. “That either drives couples apart, or, in their case, it brings them together. It irons out the kinks and enables them to see each other clearly.”

Kate and William have long protected their privacy as a couple and parents. Kate did, however, share a personal message about her health in January when she announced her cancer was in remission: “It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery,” she wrote on X. “As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”
