Kate Middleton's timeless hairstyle at her latest royal outing called back to one of her most famous hair looks of all time: her wedding tresses!
On Feb. 3, the Princess of Wales, 44, visited textile manufacturers in West Wales to celebrate heritage, creativity and craftsmanship in the Welsh textile industry and wore her long chestnut locks pulled back in a half-updo with voluminous curls.
Princess Kate's hair was instantly reminiscent of the bridal hairstyle from her royal wedding to Prince William in April 2011. She wore her rich brunette tresses in a demi-chignon with a soft side part and cascading curls, adding a true royal touch with Queen Elizabeth's Cartier Halo Tiara and a sweeping veil.

The royal bride turned to longtime stylists James Pryce and Richard Ward of London's Richard Ward salon for her wedding tresses, and Ward told PEOPLE that Kate was hands-on in the process.
"Catherine was very involved in her chosen style, and the bridal look was based on her own personal preference," Ward told PEOPLE at the time. "It was really a matter of getting a fine balance of feeling natural but also reflected the occasion."
In the years since, Princess Kate has made a half-updo with curls or waves one of her go-to hairstyles for public duties as a working royal, especially during her Duchess of Cambridge era.
When she became the Princess of Wales upon Queen Elizabeth's death and King Charles' accession in 2022, Kate reimagined her style and began to wear her hair completely down more often — making her Tuesday twist a notable moment.

The Princess of Wales made waves in September 2025 when she returned to work following the summer holiday with her blondest hair ever. The shakeup marked Kate's most dramatic hair transformation to date. However, it didn't last long, as she attended another event with darker brunette locks a few days later.
In November, Princess Kate revealed the reason behind her lighter hair hue at the Royal Variety Performance in London, when actress Su Pollard asked about what caused her lighter locks.

There, Pollard said that she told Kate, "I like your hair, it looks a lot lighter," the Daily Mail reported.
"It used to be brown, but it’s gone light in the sunshine," the royal reportedly replied.
