JoJo Fletcher and her husband, Jordan Rodgers, are now parents to a baby girl, named Romy Blair Rodgers.

The former Bachelorette star, 35, and Rodgers, 37, shared the exciting news on Instagram on Thursday, Dec. 23. Their baby girl was born on the day before Christmas Eve after Fletcher visited her doctor for their weekly sonogram. However, they learned she needed an emergency cesarean section that same day.

"Merry Christmas to us 🥹❤️ What a whirlwind these last couple of days have been but in the most magical way," Fletcher wrote, alongside a picture of Rodgers sleeping on a couch next to Romy. "Went in for our weekly sonogram this past Tuesday and found out we needed to deliver via emergency c section that day."

"At 5:37pm on Dec 23 - we met our girl," Fletcher continued. "Romy Blair Rodgers you are our whole world. Cant wait to share more but in the meantime soaking up these moments as a new family of 3 ❤️ + 2 ;) 🐶🐶."

Rodgers shared the post on his Instagram Stories, adding, "Santa really upped his game this year."

The couple, who married in 2022, announced that a baby was on the way on Aug. 28. “We love you so much already, our sweet rainbow baby. 🌈🕊️Baby Rodgers coming January 2026 🤍,” the couple wrote at the time.

In a November interview with PEOPLE, Fletcher said that the journey to motherhood had been challenging.

“Our pregnancy journey has definitely been a mix of emotions,” she said at the time. “It wasn’t as easy as we had hoped to conceive, and that journey came with its hard moments—times that left me feeling really discouraged and uncertain. So when we finally got the news, it truly was the greatest blessing.”

Rodgers, the younger brother of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and Fletcher got engaged during the Bachelorette finale in 2016. They postponed their wedding twice due to the pandemic and told PEOPLE that kids were always in the plans for them.

"We were supposed to get married in 2020 and then we were going to wait a year or two before having kids," Fletcher previously told PEOPLE exclusively.

"Now that we've had the couple of years, I think the conversation of starting to plan our family is at the forefront of our lives,” she continued. “I'm a new aunt and Jordan is about to be a new uncle and the idea of kids is something that's really exciting to me."

In her November interview with PEOPLE, Fletcher said she could not wait to create new family traditions.

“Jordan and I can’t wait to start our own family traditions with our little one on the way,” Fletcher told PEOPLE while sharing her shopping picks from Shopbop. “Think Sunday pancake mornings (this was something my mom always did growing up for me and my siblings and it was something I still have the best memories of), game nights that inevitably get a little competitive, and silly little holiday rituals that are just ours.”

Fletcher is also looking forward to experiencing the small moments of motherhood.

"I can’t wait for the everyday moments," Fletcher said. "Reading bedtime stories, sharing laughs, even the chaotic moments that feel overwhelming in the moment but later become the sweetest memories.”
