Jay Allen has found love again.
On Saturday, Dec. 27, The Voice alum shared an Instagram Reel that captured his proposal to fiancée Renée Lynn, seven months after finalizing his divorce from fellow country singer Kylie Morgan.
The footage features both Allen, 39, and Lynn dressed entirely in black in front of a Christmas tree as the former hands the latter a gift to unwrap.
"I don't know what's going on," Lynn says in the clip as she takes a white sweatshirt that says "Future Mrs. Allen" out of the box. "Wait what? Oh my God. Oh my God."
As she's opening it, Allen gets down on one knee and says, "Renée Lynn, in front of all of your most important people that you love so much, will you marry me?"

"A Christmas we’ll always remember," Allen captioned the video. The country singer also shared images taken during the proposal Thursday, Dec. 25 featuring Lynn showing off her pear-shaped cluster diamond engagement ring made by Barnes Fine Jewelers.
"SHE SAID YES!!!!!" Allen wrote. "Merry Christmas to my beautiful Renée. With a sober mind, I can confidently say that I’m in love with you and want a family with you. God only knows what we’ve both been through to get here. Thank you for waiting for me. My gift is you 🖤."

After publicly sharing his proposal and receiving varying comments, Allen posted a statement to Instagram on Sunday, Dec. 28 addressing his divorce from Morgan, 30, and his new engagement.
"To set the record straight...my ex had an affair on ME, and that was why we got divorced," he claimed. "I found out in the fall of 2024, and that it was happening behind my back, in my home."
Allen continued, "I was already unhappy as she did not support my sobriety and was obviously trying to hide something, but this gave me a reason to move on."
He then celebrated 19 months of sobriety, writing that he's "newly engaged and truly happy."

Allen noted that Lynn approved this statement and they decided to share it together.
"As most of you know, In May, I publicly shared my divorce with my ex. However, there's much more to the story I had initially decided not to share. At the time, it was important to me to take the high road and simply try and find healing and peace," he wrote.
Allen claimed that he's had to "sit back and quietly watch my ex run my name through the mud, sharing songs on social media that falsely depicted me as a bad husband with a 'black heart.'"
"If you know me, you know how I treated her, but I continued to stay silent," he added.
Allen then noted that after announcing their engagement he and Renée were "shocked" to read several "judgmental comments."
He then claimed to share an alleged "correct timeline" of what happened between him and Morgan.
Between the summer and fall of 2024, Allen alleged his ex began having an affair with a radio programming director, who he "would have considered a buddy" at the time. In fall of 2024, he claimed he received a message from the radio programming director's wife revealing the "truth."
"The saddest part was that they have a baby together," wrote Allen.
He noted that by December 2024 he moved out and hired a team of divorce attorneys, however he alleged Morgan "beat me to the punch and filed on Valentine's Day."
From February through May 2025, Allen claimed he and Morgan came to an agreement, where their "prenup was dismantled and she had to compensate me."
Allen claimed that on Feb. 15, the day after he received divorce papers, he reconnected with Lynn after meeting years prior.
"Believe what you want, but hand to Bible, I was faithful to my ex before Renée and I started talking," he wrote.
Between Feb. 15 and Dec. 24, Allen detailed how their relationship grew.
"To some, 10 months may seem fast but our engagement is our personal decision that we have diligently prayed over — not yours," he wrote.
While Allen said that making the post was "difficult," he noted that it "had to be done."
"If you leave a negative comment, you will be blocked. To the rest of you beautiful souls who follow and support our journey...Y'ALL ROCK," he concluded.

That same day, Morgan appeared to respond to Allen's post on Instagram Stories with a photo featuring her and boyfriend Alek Halverson kissing his toddler daughter.
"After years of therapy, I learned how to choose peace amongst others projected self deflecting chaos. Took me a long time & still learning ❤️🩹 #youcanthurtmeanymore," she wrote over the image.

Morgan previously told PEOPLE that issues in her and Allen's marriage had started "a very long time ago."
"That's what has really gotten me through this whole process: realizing that my energy is worth protecting and that I know I am a good person," she said earlier this year. "I was not made to believe that for a lot of years because I was trapped in something that I was very confused in."
Allen and Morgan finalized their divorce in May 2025 after marrying in November 2022.
The former couple separated in October 2024 and Morgan filed for divorce on Valentine's Day, per documents obtained by PEOPLE.
That month, Allen announced the news of their split in an Instagram post.
"It's with peace in my heart that I feel it's time to share this... Kylie and I separated 6 months ago and made the decision to get divorced," he wrote at the time. "I've been on a journey of sobriety, healing, growing, leaning into God, and I've moved on."
He added, "I will always care for Kylie & wish her the best."
