Jamie Campbell Bower, who joined the cast of Stranger Things in the fourth season as Henry Creel-slash-Vecna, put together a touching set of personalized gifts for the young actors playing his victims vessels throughout the final season of the beloved sci-fi series.

According to an account on X dedicated to the Twilight alum, he gifted each of the kids this season a copy of A Wrinkle in Time, signed with a different line said by him as Mr. Whatsit.

The Signatures Were Written in Character, With Clear Thought Put Into Each

One was addressed, “Dear Roger, Welcome Home. Don’t go into the woods! Love Henry,” with Campbell Bower’s own signature added next to it. A photo of the title page with his message was originally uploaded to Instagram by Liam Askew, who plays Holly’s classmate Roger.

The other book shared on X was addressed, “Dear Mary, Welcome Home. Let’s change the world. Love Henry,” alongside Campbell Bower’s signature. It was likely gifted to Calista Craig, who plays Holly's classmate Mary, though Parade could not confirm where it was originally posted online.

The Care and Attention Campbell Bower Put Into the Presents Struck a Chord With Fans

Fans gushed over the heartfelt gesture, with one replying, "oh my god that's so sweet."

"This man is such a treasure," one praised, while another applauded, "He’s the best! 🥰 extremely talented yet so kind and grounded 🤣🤣🤣."

"Wholesome Vecna is wild," another joked.

Askew affirmed everyone's sentiments on his social media account, writing alongside the photos he shared, "Jamie was amazing," while calling the book the "Best gift ever."

Olive Abercrombie, who plays Valerie, didn't share a photo of her own gift, but commented on Askew's post, "Almost cried. Jamie is so thoughtful ❤️."

The 'Sweet' Gifts Were Very Anti-Vecna

It's the opposite of what their characters would likely have to say about him, with many comparing their situation as kidnapped pawns in a scheme to destroy the world to The Lord of the Flies.

But, while he certainly plays evil well, the actor hinted that all is not as it seems ahead of the release of the series finale, implying that his character, Henry-slash-Vecna, is not actually the one in control. While that remains TBD, some fans found themselves "spiraling" ahead of the finale as believed sightings of Henry-slash-Vecna lurking in the background since the very first episode came to light.
