This is not a drill—B2K is actually getting the band back together.
The iconic 2000s R&B/hip-hop group officially reconciled recently after a previous feud between members and their 2004 disbandment, and now, they're in the studio making new music again after over two decades.
Taking to social media, the boy band's members—Omarion, J-Boog, Lil' Fizz, and Raz-B—teased footage from a studio session, opening up about the process of creating as a unit after so long.
"It feels amazing," Omarion opened. "It's cool after all of this time—after 20 plus years—that I can tap back into that teenage me, remembering all of those studio sessions that really, essentially, molded me into who I am today."
Originally formed in 1998 as a trio in Los Angeles, Calif., B2K was joined by Omarion in 1999. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2002, with such hits as "Gots Ta Be," "Uh Huh," and "Why I Love You." The album was a major success, entering at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
Their second studio project, holiday album Santa Hooked Me Up, was released the same year, followed by Pandemonium! featuring "Bump Bump Bump"—their first and only No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Fast forward to 2026, the singing, rapping, dancing boy band has set its sights on getting back into the groove of its heyday.
"Man, being back in the stu[dio] with my brothers... it's been crazy; it's been a dope experience," Lil' Fizz said. "Us just vibing; creating together again. All the stories we've had... being able to put that into the music this time around and really being the creators of our destiny with it."
Meanwhile, J-Boog explained that he feels 17 again. "Something about the chemistry when we get together. We're having fun, nothing but jokes."
After trials and public fallouts, the reunion feels refreshing to each member of the group. "The fact that we are able to cohesively come together to record, and the music that we are creating is super phenomenal. We're having a lot of fun recording," Raz-B admitted. "We're trying new things with our voices; we're experimenting with different records, and it's pretty cool."
"New B2K album in the clip. Are you ready?! 💪🏾🎯," the Instagram video was captioned.
