Some Bridgerton fans were so into the new season that they caught the tiniest error in one scene.
It happened in the first episode of the season, "The Waltz," when Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell) is hosting a masquerade ball. When she chats with a new character, Harry Potter actress Katie Leung's Araminta, what appears to be a small bandage is visible on Araminta's left ear.

The romantic Netflix drama is set in London in the early 1800s, and while bandages existed, small adhesive bandages, like the one Araminta wore, didn't come around until later, a TikToker pointed out. (Band-Aids were created in 1920, per the brand's website.)
Viewed 24.5 thousand times as of late Tuesday, the clip had support from fans.
Entertainment Weekly has reached out to Netflix, where the show streams.

"Yeah, I wish they had covered it better — like put a fancy ear cuff up there or something," someone wrote.
Another added, "This is literally the problem with ultra hd tvs and cameras."
Still, others argued that Bridgerton is to be enjoyed, not picked apart.
"This is like the third video I've seen where someone is zooming in on the actors' ears. Who’s looking at ears that much?" one fan wrote.
There was also the argument that it's "not that serious."
A loyalist asked, "Do y'all ever just watch things for fun?"
It sounds like Lady Araminta Gun herself would not much care for the chatter. For one thing, she's busy focusing on her two daughters, who are "debuting on the marriage mart this season," according to Netflix blog Tudum. "She is feeling the pressure to get at least one of them wed. Fabulous, discerning, and blunt, Araminta does not respond well when anything — or anyone — threatens her standing in society."
Leung said she would describe her character as "a force of nature," while acknowledging that people would likely see her as a villain.
The first four episodes of Bridgerton's latest season are streaming on Netflix. Four more episodes will be available Feb. 26.
