Drew Barrymore's daughter is officially a bat mitzvah!
On a Monday, Dec. 22 episode of her eponymous talk show, the actress, 50, revealed that her daughter Olive, 13, had recently had her bat mitzvah. Speaking with Paul Rudd, Barrymore shared that she'd just attended her daughter's big day.
"By the way, my daughter, who is 13½, just had her bat mitzvah," Barrymore said during the episode.
"Mazel tov," Rudd replied.
"Thank you so much," Barrymore said, adding that she didn't know the actor was a bat mitzvah DJ in the past.

Back in September, the mom of two spoke with Real Simple for their cover story and got candid about how she deals with burnout from parenting her two kids. Barrymore said she starts by talking with her family.
“When I get burnout from trying to mom really hard and work really hard, I go, 'You know what? This isn’t good,' " she told the outlet. "And I know that at the end of the day, the most important thing in life is your relationships. If I’m not putting that first, then I’m on the wrong track."
"So I talk to my kids. And I do try to show them that the more you work on yourself, the happier you’re going to be, the more your friendships will thrive," she continued. "We all need tools to navigate the world, and asking for help is everything.”
The proud mom said that when it comes to parenting, she tries to model good behavior in an effort to influence her daughters.
“I model how important it is to be kind to others. If you’re not good to someone, you will not only ruin their day, but guess what: You’re going to feel really bad about yourself. So nix that behavior," Barrymore said. "And I’ve taught them that if you clean up after yourself, you’re going to have more calmness in your space. Your head is as messy as your room is. Someone said that to me, and it changed my life forever.”
“I have one daughter who’s neater than I will ever be, and one daughter who is beyond messy. But someone reminded me that I was messy when I was young," she continued. "And I was like, 'Oh my God, I’m expecting her to have my 50-year-old woman’s standards of cleanliness!'”

During a May episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the daytime talk show host was joined by guest and fellow mom Mindy Kaling. While chatting with the Sex Lives of College Girls creator, Barrymore opened up about how she feels it's a good sign when older kids aren't "dismissive of younger kids."
As an example, the 50 First Dates actress shared that the Sandler daughters, Sunny, 16, and Sadie, 19, are "so good" to her two daughters.
“I feel like it’s a really good sign of a good soul and good parenting when older kids are not dismissive of younger kids," she told Kaling. "It’s funny, like not to drop names, but Adam Sandler’s daughters, Sunny and Sadie, are so good to my daughters."
“Olive and Frankie are 10 and 12, and they like hang out. I always tell Jackie — Adam’s wife — what a good mom that she is and what good parents they are because their daughters always take younger ones under their wing.”
