Clarins hosted its annual party in Los Angeles on March 20 at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures

The event, which celebrated the brand's new Extra-Firming Energy moisturizer, was headlined by Maroon 5

PEOPLE got an exclusive look into the night, which was attended by Lucky Blue and Nara Smith, Brooks Nader, Samara Weaving and the cast of Tell Me Lies

For a brand that's nearly 100 years old, Clarins sure knows how to have a good time.

On Friday, March 20, the legacy cosmetics company brought France to Los Angeles with a star-studded "Night of Extra" at the iconic Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

Moments before the party officially began on the Dolby Family Terrace, the sunset covered the Hollywood Hills in a soft golden glow, which would last long into the night with the color orange touching nearly everything in sight, from the carpet to the lit-up walls of Clarins' Extra-Firming Energy moisturizer.

A new addition to the Clarins Extra-Firming line, the Energy moisturizer is formulated with a collagen polypeptide blend, red ginseng and niacinamide to revitalize the skin.

Fittingly, there was not a dull moment throughout the evening.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, were the first to appear on the carpet, starting what eventually became a parade of notable faces.

In came Lucky and Nara Blue Smith, who chatted with PEOPLE about their current skincare routines (he's into "simple" maintenance and she's into an "eight-step situation") and their post-date-night plans at In-N-Out.

Brooks Nader, a previous Clarins campaign star, was most excited for the "extra" theme of the bash. "I'm a maximalist. I want sparkles...I'm from the South, so I'm extra in every way," she said, before opening up about bringing her own Brooks flair to the upcoming Fox Baywatch reboot. "It's big shoes to fill, and it's such an honor to be a part of such an iconic series. I'm obviously bringing my little sass to it. I know you're going to love it."

Clarins' newest addition, 22-year-old NFL breakout Jaxson Dart, showed off his style in a black suit topped with a Dolce & Gabbana brooch and Cartier sunglasses. "I am who I am, and I just put on what I feel like I want to," he told PEOPLE.

Actress Samara Weaving also turned heads in a monochromatic look of her own — a black off-the-shoulder bodycon dress that complemented her bump (the Ready or Not 2: Here I Come star is expecting her first baby with husband Jimmy Warden). "I have an incredible stylist, Mr. Jordan Dorso," she said. "He's just been an absolute dream to work with that I would literally be lost without him."

And so, the carpet continued with Sophia Culpo, Quenlin Blackwell, Rainey Qualley, Paris Brosnan and his girlfriend Alex Lee-Aillón, Outer Banks' Rudy Pankow, Jesse Metcalfe, Leven Rambin and Love Island USA's Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi (who later reunited with fellow season 6 Islander Olivia Walker).

Beyond the ropes, the cast of Tell Me Lies (Sonia Mena, Spencer House, Thomas Doherty, Branden Cook and Katherine Hughes) reunited after the show's conclusion in February. "It's so exciting to see how much people loved it," Mena said before revealing how she and her costars have soaked in the "bittersweet" ending together. "I feel like we've been celebrating, and we also just hang out all the time anyway."

Later in the night, Maroon 5 kicked off their headlining performance on a sweet note with "Sugar." Throughout the set, the band reintroduced classics like "Sunday Morning," "This Love," and "Moves Like Jagger" that electrified the crowd. "It's good to be here on arguably one of the most beautiful nights of the year," Levine said. After, Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel joined the singer as the band exited backstage.

The energy was fueled by cocktails, live-spun gelato and music by DJ Tay James. And once guests were done partying themselves out, they left with a bag of Clarins' signature products — how's that for a little something extra?
