Soccer star Jorginho Frello claims that Chappell Roan's security guard brought his 11-year-old daughter to tears by accusing her of harassment.

The soccer star says daughter Ada — who his wife Catherine Harding shares with her ex Jude Law — got excited after spotting Roan in their hotel.

The Grammy-winner denies that she sent the security guard and agrees that his treatment of the young girl was uncalled for.

Chappell Roan insists she had nothing to do with the security guard who brought a young fan to tears by accusing her of harassing the singer at a hotel restaurant.

Hours after Brazilian soccer star Jorginho Frello blasted the singer for allegedly instructing a security guard to chastise his 11-year-old daughter — who got excited after spotting Roan in the hotel — the Grammy-winner is sharing her side of the story.

"I didn't even see a woman and a child," the 28-year-old pop star said in an Instagram Stories video shared on Sunday morning. "No one came up to me. No one bothered me. I was just sitting at breakfast in my hotel."

She added, "I did not ask the security guard to go up and talk to this mother and child. They did not come up to me— they weren't doing anything!"

In Frello's original post, the Arsenal player accused the "Hot To Go" singer of making his daughter cry as part of a "very upsetting situation" that occurred while the family was staying at the same hotel as her during Lollapalooza Brazil.

"This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited," the pro athlete wrote, referencing his 11-year-old daughter-in-law Ada, whom his wife Catherine Harding shares with her ex, actor Jude Law. "She even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire."

Frello explained that the mother and daughter were sitting down for breakfast when they spotted Roan in the room. Excited, his daughter wanted to confirm that it was her.

"The worst part is she didn't even approach her,” he continued. “She simply walked past the singer's table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn't say anything, didn't ask for anything."

Jorginho claimed that after his daughter returned to the table, a "large security guard" interrupted their breakfast and "began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn't allow my daughter to 'disrespect' or 'harass' other people."

The soccer pro continued, "Honestly, I don't know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment."

He added that his daughter was "extremely shaken and cried a lot." Then, Jorginho moved on to criticizing the singer directly.

"I've lived with football, public exposure, and well-known people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are," he wrote. "What happened there was not that. It was just a child admiring someone."

He then tagged Roan’s Instagram account and wrote a message in all-caps: “WITHOUT YOUR FANS, YOU WOULD BE NOTHING. AND TO THE FANS, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR AFFECTION."

In her own video, Roan maintained that she also believes the security guard did not respond appropriately, pointing out that she didn't even see the daughter's walk-by or take notice of the duo at all.

"It's unfair for security to just assume something doesn't have good intentions," she said.

As for Jorginho's criticisms, Roan concluded, "I do not hate people who are fans of my music. I do not hate children— that is crazy. I'm sorry to the mother and child that someone was assuming that you would do something, and if you felt uncomfortable that makes me really sad. You did not deserve that."

Since her meteoric rise to fame on the heels of releasing her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, Roan has made waves for being outspoken about the difficult and often exploitative nature of life in the public eye. This has included advocating on behalf of her fellow artists for a livable wage while onstage at the Grammys and frequently speaking out against aggressive red carpet photographers, and "creepy" fans who get too close.

This latest incident comes amid renewed attention about her stance on boundaries, weeks after the singer went viral for confronting paparazzi and autograph-seekers who followed her to a Paris restaurant, asking them "kindly to please leave me alone and stop following me and harassing me" before turning her own camera on them to show them "what it's like."

Over the years, several stars have come to Roan's defense, including Doja Cat who recently praised her ability to be "uncomfortable, comfortably" in handling intrusive attention. Meanwhile, others have pointed out that the paparazzi and fan fervor is all part of the job.

Earlier this month, Boy George offered the singer some advice, writing on social media, "The trick is to own your fame. Yes, it's annoying at times but so is being ignored and told your a 'has-been. Life is always now and I think Chappell looks great but cheer up girl. The world is at your feet stop kicking it!"
