Bradley Cooper appeared on the latest episode of SmartLess with his Is This Thing On? costar Will Arnett.

Arnett said that "everybody thinks that Bradley's had plastic surgery" but insisted that "he hasn't."

Cooper said that "some people came up to me the last couple weeks, and they're like, 'Oh, you look good!'"

Bradley Cooper has heard the rumors — and his friends say they're not true.

The Maestro star briefly addressed the speculation that he's undergone plastic surgery during a conversation with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes on their podcast SmartLess. Arnett and Cooper, who star together in the latter's latest directorial project Is This Thing On?, said that they were recording the podcast in the middle of press appearances for their film.

Cooper explained that the two actors had just completed a "Guess how well you know each other" video shoot, which led Arnett to bring up cosmetic surgery.

"[I was asked], 'What's one thing about Bradley that people don't know?'" the BoJack Horseman star recalled. "And I said, 'Well, there's a lot.' And then I was gonna say, 'cause we keep reading: Everybody thinks that Bradley's had plastic surgery. Everybody keeps saying that."

Arnett, however, denied those claims on his costar's behalf. "What people don't know is that he hasn't!" he said. "Of course he hasn't!"

Cooper jumped in to confirm that people have been commenting on his appearance with surprised tones of voice.

"Some people came up to me the last couple weeks," he said. "And they're like, 'Oh, you look good!'"

Arnett said that he's upset about discussion of Cooper's appearance on the filmmaker's behalf. "It made me mad," he said. "Everybody thinks that they know. You know, you read bulls--- stuff."

Bateman then joked that he's undergone a multitude of plastic surgeries. "I've been cut to ribbons," he said as his cohosts laughed. "But look how it's worth it. Look at this."

Is This Thing On? follows Alex, a middle-aged man (Arnett) who begins performing standup comedy as he reels from the pain of his ongoing divorce from his wife Tess (Laura Dern). Arnett, Cooper, and Mark Chappell cowrote the screenplay, and Cooper portrays Balls, Alex's actor friend who serves as the film's comic relief. Cooper and Arnett also produced the project together.
