Are we sure that Arnold Schwarzenegger ever really left the set of *Jingle All the Way*?

In something that feels straight out of that movie's playbook, the action star and former California governor had quite the, *ahem*, unique Christmas gift for son-in-law Chris Pratt and his family.

“His love language is giving gifts, that's for sure," Pratt said during a recent appearance on *The Graham Norton Show* when asked about how Schwarzenegger "goes big on Christmas."

"He just goes all out with his gifts," Pratt continued. "This year, one was like a 6-foot-by-8-foot portrait painting of all three of my children and him as Santa Claus, and it's very lifelike and it's very big, and it's him as Santa Claus and then the three kids peering around the Christmas tree seeing him eat a cookie."

Pratt and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, share three children: daughters Lyla Marie, 5, and Eloise Christina, 3, and son Ford, 1. (Pratt also shares a son, Jack, 13, with ex-wife Anna Faris.)

******When Norton pointed out to Pratt that such a gift wasn't likely to be practical for much of the year, Pratt quipped, "Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what we're supposed to do with that for the rest of the year. I think we'll have to break that out in November sometime. It's big, it's in a frame and it's a big massive [painting]."

When fellow guest Dawn French suggested that the painting can't really be regifted either, Pratt laughed and then clarified that it wasn't the only gift he received from his famous father-in-law: "It was a very thoughtful gift, and he also gave me a pair of crocodile boots that he wore in a movie — we have the same size feet."

While he was unable to recall the name of the film, Pratt offered, "They're regifted but they're iconic, he wore them in some movie."

Though he has yet to reveal the painting itself, Pratt did take to his Instagram account on Christmas Day to share photos of other gifts he apparently received over the holiday.

"Merry Christmas! Remember: presence over presents. Except these. These can stay," he wrote in the post's caption, as he posted a photo of a coffee mug with an image of Jesus saying, "I saw that," as well as a copy of former president Theodore Roosevelt's book *Outdoor Pastimes of an American Hunter* and bound copies of scripts for Pratt's recent projects, including *Mercy*, *Garfield, Way of the Warrior Kid*, and *The Terminal List*.**
