It's time to meet the cast of *A Quiet Place Part III*.

Six years have gone by since the release of *Part II* in John Krasinski's monster-filled dystopia, and two years since the standalone prequel, but the post-Oscars haze brings up both the returning and new cast members teaming up for the third entry to the main storyline.

Emily Blunt will return as Evelyn Abbott alongside Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe as her children, Regan and Marcus, Krasinski announced in a social media post on Monday. Cillian Murphy, who debuted in the franchise as Upstate New York survivor Emmett, is also coming back.

As for the newcomers, Jack O'Connell will continue his horror streak after newly crowned Oscar winner *Sinners* and the *28 Years Later* sequel *The Bone Temple* with a role in *A Quiet Place Part III*. This also marks a semi-reunion between O'Connell and Murphy. While they didn't share the screen, they both featured in *The Bone Temple*.

They will also be joined by Katy O'Brian of many a Paramount movie (*Twisters*, *The Running Man*, *Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning*) and Jason Clarke of *Murdaugh: Death in the Family*.

"So proud to be a part of this #AQuietPlace family… old and new! Here we go!" Krasinksi, who returns to write and direct the new film, posted Monday before reiterating the July 30, 2027 release date.

Krasinski previously starred in the first movie as Lee Abbott, husband to Blunt's Evelyn. Though his character died, he returned in an opening flashback to the sequel. It's unclear if Krasinski will pull a similar comeback in the next entry.

When last we caught up with the Abbott family in *A Quiet Place Part II*, they met Emmett, a closed-off, world-weary man who lost his entire family after the monsters that hunt through sound arrived on Earth. Regan went through the gauntlet with Emmett as they connected with a small colony of survivors — whose origin story was revealed in the prequel film *A Quiet Place: Day One*, starring Lupita Nyong'o.

The biggest development was the discovery of an audio signal Regan could use to incapacitate the monsters. Finding a radio tower, she broadcasts said signal so other survivors can use it as a weapon.

The franchise has since expanded with a video game, subtitled *The Road Ahead*, and a comic book, subtitled *Storm Warning*.
